Paddock Maintenance
Our paddock maintenance options are tailored specifically to the customers requirements. Alternatively we offer a full revamp package that will transform an overgrown and weed ridden area into a luscious green pasture, wild flower meadow or grass lawn. All our materials are sourced locally and we are happy to devise a package to meet your specific needs. As well as a full revamp, paddock maintenance services can be specified separately. Individual services include:
- seeding, fertilizing and rolling
- paddock topping (grass cutting)
- Spraying (herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers)
- hedge cutting
- slug pellet application
- hay making
- stock fencing installation and repairs
Our equipment is well suited to large areas of a quarter of an acre or more. However if access is limited, we require access of only two meters in width for the compact tractor to enter the paddock. In contrast, many other contractors struggle, or simply cannot get equipment to where it needs to be. This is rarely an issue for us. Furthermore, due to the lower size and weight of our equipment, soil compaction and terrain damage are reduced to an absolute minimum.
Fencing & Gates
We install all types of fencing, specializing in stock fencing including post & rail, post & wire and deer fencing. We also supply and install a range of gates from pedestrian and farm gates to security gates. Our combination of professional equipment and traditional methods produces a superior result and a tractor mounted post knocker leaves virtually no damage to the grass or soil due to the intentionally selected tyres.
We supply all fencing materials, however we are happy to accommodate those customers that wish to supply their own, should they prefer. Contact us today to arrange a site visit and receive an accurate quote.
Ground Works
With our 2.5 tonne digger we provide a variety of groundwork services, including digging foundations and footings, laying water pipes and driveways as well as general excavations. We also have access to a wider selection of plant machinery if required.
Light Haulage
With over six years experience towing trailers up and down the UK, we are happy to provide a fully insured light haulage service for our customers. Our fleet of trailers includes a car transporter, flatbed, livestock trailer and plant trailer, all pulled by a vehicle rated to tow 3.5 tonnes.
Responsible hauliers know that it isn’t enough to deliver the load in time – it must also be delivered in one piece. Our experience loading and operating plant machinery and vehicles means your load is in safe hands. Our familiarity with forklifts and telehandlers means we can ensure your goods are cared for from start to finish.
Hedge & Tree Cutting
From small scale hedge trimming right up to tree felling, AT-CO Light Agriculture offers a complete solution. With the option to specify the chipping and/or disposal of green waste, we are proud to offer a no hassle service.
Garden & Lawn
We offer a select range of garden and lawn services including grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning etc. Lawn reseeding is a popular option and we stock a variety of grass seeds to suit your needs. The handling and removal of all green waste completes the service.
Snow Clearing & Gritting
As the colder weather arrives, it is paramount for any business that it’s premises are free of snow and ice in order to comply with the current health and safety regulations.
